Dissaki (L)
$11,45
Dissaki is thought to derive from the ancient Greek “di” meaning two and “sakkion” meaning bag or sack. Historically carried on either side of a mule or donkey’s saddle, the disaki morphed into a single pouch in which Greek villagers transported their belongings from place to place. Usually tied to the end of a pole, the bag was a compact way to travel, enabling the concept of a portable existence.
It is now one of our Greek signatures of which we are deeply proud.
